Ellen’s overall therapeutic approach is ‘integrative’ – this means her clinical psychology training has skilled her in many therapeutic approaches (with an emphasis on CBT) and techniques that she has refined throughout her career and further training (including EMDR training).

Research has shown that the therapeutic relationship is the number one factor that makes therapies effective – accordingly Ellen focuses her attention on investing in the therapeutic relationships she establishes with her clients and encourages clients to only work with her if they feel that they can trust her.

Ellen is a creative individual who tailor-makes her intervention to the specific problems her clients are facing.  Her extensive clinical psychology and therapy training background and years of working with clients therapeutically will guide her treatment decisions.
